Your first visit

  1. Before

    • Come with clean lashes: no mascara or eye makeup.
    • Skip waterproof mascara for a few days beforehand.
    • Wear glasses instead of contacts if you can.
    • Had extensions before? Add the date of your last fill in the booking notes.
  2. During

    • We start with a short consultation about the look you want.
    • You’ll lie back with your eyes closed for 1½–3 hours, depending on the set. Many clients relax or nap.
    • Bring headphones if you’d like music or a podcast.
  3. After

    Extensions

    • No waiting period to get them wet. After the pool or ocean, rinse with fresh water.
    • Wash daily with a foaming lash cleanser, dry, then brush into place.
    • Avoid oil-based products, lash curlers and rubbing your eyes.
    • Book your fill for 2–4 weeks out.

    Lash lift

    • Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours.
    • A nourishing oil like castor oil helps your lift look better for longer and keeps your lashes hydrated and healthy.
    • Lash growth serum is optional, if you’d like more dramatic results.
    • Book a new lift every 6–8 weeks.

Questions & answers

Do lash extensions hurt?

No. Extensions are applied to your natural lashes, not your skin, and your eyes stay closed the whole time. If anything stings or feels off, say so right away.

Which style should I choose?

For a natural look, choose Angel. For a darker lash line without fans, Wet. For more fullness, Hybrid, and for full glam, Volume.

Not sure? Book the closest one and we’ll adjust it together. Compare the styles.

Lash lift or extensions?

A lash lift uses only your own lashes: they’re lifted and curled, so you can ditch the curler. Extensions add lashes for more length and fullness, from a natural angel set to full volume.

Will extensions damage my natural lashes?

Not when they’re applied and cared for properly. Each extension is matched to what your natural lash can hold, and fills replace them as they shed. Follow the aftercare steps above and don’t pull or pick at them.

How long do extensions last?

Extensions shed along with your natural lashes, a few at a time. Most clients book a fill every 2–4 weeks to keep them full.

Can I swim in the ocean with extensions?

Yes, right away: there’s no waiting period after your appointment. After the ocean or pool, rinse with fresh water, let them air-dry and brush them through.

Keep sunscreen and oily products away from the lash line, since oil weakens the bond.

Can I wear mascara?

You shouldn’t need it, and mascara is hard to remove from extensions without pulling them out. With a lash lift, you can wear mascara again after the first 24 hours.

Someone else did my lashes. Can you fill them?

Book a foreign fill and add the date of your last fill in the booking notes. We’ll start with a consultation. Fills over another artist’s work aren’t guaranteed: if your set won’t blend with my style, I’ll recommend a removal and a new full set.

How do I pay?

Payment is due at your appointment, by tap to pay (card or phone), Venmo or cash. No card is needed to book online.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment, using the link in your confirmation text or email. You can also send a text.

I’m visiting Kona. Can I book?

Yes. Book online like anyone else. Lashes are ocean-friendly (see above), so they’re a nice way to skip mascara on your trip. Staying between Kealakekua and Waimea? A house call can come to you.
